The challenges that the full employment of cryptography face in Brazil and in the world are continuous. Among proposals for filtering communications content, weakening cryptography for access to communications by investigative authorities, and making it mandatory for providers to employ message traceability mechanisms, the risks that the security of connected infrastructures and users' rights face are varied. In order to map these policies, the contexts from which they arise and the challenges they potentially offer, we will bring together panelists from different regions of the world - Asia, Europe and the Americas - as well as researchers and Brazilian police representatives.
