selection and manipulation are an essential part of any Virtual Reality
(VR) experience, and several studies are done every year to explore this
area of technology. For the person(s) with a temporary or permanent
physical disability, virtual reality (VR) means the potential to try
activities which they usually cannot do in real life. However, the use of a
controller can be challenging for certain users with limited hand/finger
dexterity. *Sam Qorbani* will talk about how he is exploring object
selection and manipulation using gaze-based/head tracking for Immersive
Virtual Reality (IVR) environment using the Oculus Quest device. The
session will be webcast live via a partnership with the *Internet Society
